This marks the final installation of Photo Moments! Shortly after, we will also be posting a new segment called "What Community Service Means to Me". Thanks for your contributions so far; to those who have yet to write in, please feel free to do so. :)

It's an exciting month for PRCL committee; we have about a month to go before PRCL2008.

Letters have already gone out to the cadet and link units; we look forward to seeing you on 13th December. To the external volunteers who have already signed up, thank you very much for your time and generosity.

Also, much thanks to the committee which has been hard at work the past few months. :)

Deepest apologies on the lack of activities on the blog; everyone's been so busy with work, and planning PRCL2008, and school... It's been a mad flurry. Some of the details have been firmed up for PRCL2008 - this year's event will be on 13th December (Saturday) at Pioneer Junior College. We will be bringing in some 500 beneficiaries, and coupled with our Red Cross cadets, external volunteers, guests and performers, we are looking at a 1000-strong crowd.

Much thanks to Pioneer Junior College, who responded quickly and warmly while we were sourcing for a venue.

The fifth installation of 'Photo Moments of 2007' will be the last, after which we will be starting a new segment called 'What Community Service Means to Me'.

Hence marks the 3rd installation of Photo Moments of 2007. As mentioned, meetings for Project Red Cross Love 2008 are currently on-going. Our committee members have been hard at work, and have come up with a proposed venue and a programme outline. We have also roped in several external volunteers to be a part of our committee; many thanks to these friends. Watch this space for more event details. In the meantime, enjoy the photographs. :)

This is the 2nd installation of Photo Moments of 2007.

Also, the meetings for planning of Project Red Cross Love 2008 have begun; we will continue to provide updates for this year's project in this blog as and when we can.

Care & Share Day 2008

For our first feature.. Photographs from Care & Share Day 2008 held on 17th May 2008. Thanks to everyone who came down to help out, both Red Cross and external volunteers. This event would not have been possible without you. Special thanks to the organizing committee also; the smiles on the faces of the elderly are reason enough for us to continue working hard to make our projects better and better. :)
